The very first Furry Fandom-themed convention, ConFurence 0, took place in January of 1989 in Costa Mesa, California. Twenty-five years later at Further Confusion in San Jose (also California), ConFurence 0 co-directors Mark Merlino and Rod O’Riley hosted a presentation celebrating where Furry conventions have been… by talking about where they came from.
